High-priority jobs
============================

This is for research groups that have purchased compute node(s) within Hoffman2 Cluster.

- The high-priority jobs are guaranteed to start within 24 hours (assuming the purchased nodes are not already fully occupied by other high-priority jobs).

- The high priority jobs always (and only) run on the group's purchased nodes.

- A high-priority job can run up to 14 days (``h_rt=336:00:00``).

- Use ``-l highp``, in addition to other job parameters.


Things to consider:

- Use ``-l highp``
- For >24 hour jobs, ``-l highp`` is the only way
- For <=24 hour jobs, to ``highp`` or not to ``highp``?
